Concordia Opens Volleyball Season With Sweep At Homestead

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Defending 3A state runner-up Concordia opened the 2014 season with a 3-0 win at Homestead on Monday night as the prep volleyball season got underway in Indiana.
The Cadets, ranked no. 2 in the 3A ICGSA preseason coaches poll, lost in three tight games to Brebeuf Jesuit last fall in the 3A title game in Muncie. Brebeuf is ranked no. 1.
On Monday, Concordia topped Homestead 25-21, 25-13, 25-15.
