One critical after Steuben Co. Crash

STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE)  Police said multiple people are in the hospital, including one in critical condition, after a crash on County Road 300 West in Steuben County.

According to the police report from the sheriff’s office, around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Cristi Adamson, 31, from Bronson, Michigan was headed north when she drove her car through a stop sign and into a vehicle driven by Candace M. Miller, 23, of Lagrange. Police said Miller was headed west and did not have a stop sign.

Investigators said when the vehicles collided Adamson was forced onto State Road 120 and came to a stop west of the intersection.  Millers vehicle went off the road way and hit a sign and several trees in the area.

Police believe Adamson suffered a possible broken hip and her passenger Lance W. Losinski, 32, from Coldwater, Michigan suffered a head injury. Adamson was transported to a hospital in Fort Wayne. Losinski was airlifted to a hospital in Fort Wayne and is in critical condition.

Both Miller and her passenger, Travis R. Bills, 24, of Wolcottville were transported to a local hospital and suffered minor injuries.

Police said seat belts were worn by all the occupants. This incident is under investigation by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office.
