INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – The Indianapolis Colts today signed three free agents: center Thomas Austin, guard Marcus Hall and wide receiver Nu’Keese Richardson. The team also waived guard Chad Anderson, waived-injured outside linebacker Daniel Adongo and defensive tackle Jeris Pendleton and waived cornerback Brandon Burton from Injured Reserve with an injury settlement. If Adongo and Pendleton clear waivers, they will revert to the Colts Injured Reserve list.

Austin, 6-4, 310 pounds, has competed in eight career games, making one start. In 2013, he saw action in the Colts Week 16 matchup at Kansas City (12/22). Austin previously spent time with the Carolina Panthers (2012) and Houston Texans (2011). He was originally signed by the Colts as a free agent on August 1, 2013 before being signed to the practice squad on September 1.

Hall, 6-5, 315 pounds, was originally signed by the Colts as an undrafted free agent on May 13, 2014 and waived on June 12. He competed in 46 career games for Ohio State and started 31 games, including 25 as a junior and senior, during which time the Buckeyes set a school-record winning streak of 24 consecutive games. As a fifth-year senior, Hall started 13-of-14 games and was named an All-Big Ten honorable mention selection. He assisted an Ohio State offense to a national ranking of fifth in rushing (308.6 yards per game) while setting school records for points scored (637), touchdowns (87) and touchdown passes (38).

Richardson, 5-10, 160 pounds, was originally signed by the Colts as a free agent on August 3, 2014 and was waived on August 5. He played for the University of Pikeville in 2013, where he recorded 39 receptions for 588 yards and three touchdowns in nine games. In 2009, Richardson played in nine games for the University of Tennessee and caught eight passes for 102 yards and a touchdown.

Anderson was signed by the Colts as a free agent on July 15, 2014. Previously he played for the LA Kiss of the Arena Football League and also participated in the Indianapolis NFL Regional Combine earlier this year. Collegiately, Anderson started 32-of-35 career games and was a three-time letterman at Northern Michigan.

Adongo was signed by the Colts as a free agent on July 25, 2013. Last season, he saw action in two games on special teams. Prior to joining the Colts, Adongo played for the Southern Kings of Super 15 Rugby, the highest level of professional rugby in the world.

Pendleton was signed to the Colts practice squad on December 4, 2013 and was elevated to the 53-man active roster on December 26. In 2013, he made four tackles (two solo) in the regular season finale and four tackles (two solo) in two postseason contests. For his career, Pendleton has recorded five tackles in five games.

Burton was claimed by the Colts off waivers (Cincinnati) on June 12, 2014 and was waived-injured on August 3. He has played in 19 career games with the Minnesota Vikings and Buffalo Bills, totaling five tackles and one pass defensed.
