Snider Sophomore Malik Williams Earns Offer From Hoosiers

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – According to multiple reports Snider rising sophomore Malik Williams has been offered a scholarship by Indiana University.
The 6-foot-10 post player visited the Bloomington campus on Tuesday and reportedly received the offer directly from IU head coach Tom Crean. It is Williams’ first scholarship offer, though Purdue, Michigan, Michigan State, and Ball State are among other schools showing interest.
Last season as a freshman at Snider Williams helped guide John Todor’s team to a 14-8 record.
One recruiting website lists Williams as the 19th-best player in the class of 2017, while another ranks him 38th.
