Explosion leads to meth bust

Warsaw, Ind. (WANE)  Tuesday morning dispatchers received a 911 call about what sounded like an explosion in Warsaw.  When officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department arrived at the home located at 5571 South Lake Shore Drive West in the Sellers Lake area they immediately called in the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force and Indiana State Police after seeing several items related to the manufacture of meth.

A search warrant was obtained and officers found even more items associated with meth making  as well as an area where an explosion could have taken place.  The homeowner, William Daniel Kent Jr., 53, was arrested and faces several charges associated with the manufacture of methamphetamine.

The Winona Lake Police Department and the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office also took part in the investigation.
