LAKE COUNTY, Ind. (WANE)  A semitrailer full of beer rolled over early Monday morning closing a lane on I-65 northbound at the 327 mile marker, according to the police report. Indiana State Police said Khurshid A. Makhmudov, 31 of Vancouver, Washington was driving a semitrailer north at 6:45 a.m., he went to adjust his radio and the semitrailer started to drift off the road.

As Makhmudov over corrected, he lost control of the semitrailer and it went into the grassy median where it rolled. Police said the semitrailer slid about 200 feet onto the driver’s side.

The box trailer split open after rolling over and a portion of the load was lost in the median. The picture shows cases of Miller Light on the highway. Authorities said the beer will have to be loaded onto another trailer before the trailer can be placed upright.

Police said Makhmudov was taken to a hospital with a laceration to his forearm and he was cited for unsafe lane movement.
