Search for wanted person leads to meth arrests

Latty, OHIO (WANE)  Two men were arrested this past Friday after police found one of them with a one-pot meth lab in the village of Latty in Paulding County, Ohio about 30 miles east of Fort Wayne.

According to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Department, deputies went to 225 Second Street looking for the wanted person.  During their conversation with Sammie L. Jones, 30, another man was seen walking from a shed with what looked to be a one-pot meth lab.  The man took off running, but was captured a short distance away.  He was identified as thirty-one-year-old Jason C. Kremer,

Jones and Kremer were taken into custody for the illegal manufacturing of drugs and for possession of chemicals tor the manufacture of drugs.  Because Kremer’s children were home when the meth lab was found, he’s also charged with felony child endangerment. The Paulding County Sheriff”s Department was assisted by the Paulding Fire Department and the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.
