Heritage Loaded At Skill Positions In 2014

FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) – Heritage finished 7-4 a year ago and lost most of it’s offensive line. Despite that – the Patriots are very much in position to post a better mark this fall and challenge for the ACAC championship.

Dean Lehrman’s roster returns nearly 4,500 yards of total offense, highlighted by senior quarterback Brandon Dossen who threw for just a shade under 2,500 yards and 20 touchdowns last fall. Justyn Hart (915 yards, 14 touchdowns) will command the bulk of the carries in the run game and Lehrman added he has three wide receivers capable of hauling in 40 to 50 receptions each this season. The question will be up front where the Patriots are young and inexperienced, but the potential is there for another big season on offense and in the standings.
