FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) – On a day where scores were low, Nick Bienz had the lowest. Bienz fired an opening round 66 to take a one-stroke lead after round one of Men’s City Golf Tournament at Chestnut Hills. Bienz set the tone for his round by notching a birdie on hole one. He would play both the front and back nine and three-under.
Clay Spangler and Joe Leja sit just one stroke behind. Defending champion Patrick Kelley shot an opening round 68 and sits two strokes back of the lead entering round two.
