Police K-9 sniffs out 10 lbs. of pot

AUBURN, Ind. (WANE)  A traffic stop on I-69 this past weekend led to the arrest of an Indianapolis man in Auburn after a police found about 10 pounds of marijuana in his SUV.  According to the Auburn Police Department, officers were conducting patrols aimed at stopping drug trafficking early Saturday evening when they stopped the SUV for a traffic violation near the 329 mile marker.

A police K-9 named Miky sniffed the vehicle and alerted the officers that there could be narcotics in the vehicle.  When they searched the Buick Enclave they found the marijuana.

The driver, Ian Neberieza, 33, of Indianapolis was arrested for dealing marijuana and possession of marijuana.
