GRABILL, Ind. (WANE) – Police responded to the bank robbery at an IAB Bank in Grabill just after 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
According to Allen County Sheriff Department spokesperson Corporal Jeremy Tinkel, a man dressed in black came into the bank at 13505 Main St. in Grabill just after it opened Tuesday morning. The suspect had a gun and demanded money.
He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and was seen running over the train tracks that run parallel to Main Street before getting into a small, light blue car or teal car that was driven by another man. Police said the car was described as late 1980s to early 1990s Cavalier-style. The suspect is described as a man between 5’8″ and 5’10” with a slender build.
There were no customers inside the building at the time of the robbery and no one was injured.
