B.B. King and Robert Cray concert canceled


FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) The B.B. King and Robert Cray concert at the Embassy has been canceled due to an illness, according to a press release from the Embassy Theatre. Tickets will be refunded at the place of purchase.

The Embassy Theatre’s executive director Kelly Updike released the following statement:

B.B. has a great fan base here in Fort Wayne, and we were looking forward to the King of the Blues playing our house tonight. People were very excited about the show and tickets had sold well. We will miss hosting B.B. King and Robert Cray on our stage. We wish all parties involved a speedy recovery.

The Embassy Box Office will be open Saturday evening from 6- 8:30 p.m. to refund purchases. For anyone who is unable to go to the box office, it opens Monday 10 a.m.

Ticket holders who purchased through Ticketmaster will receive instructions directly from Ticketmaster on how to receive a refund.
