GRANT COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — Interstate 69 was shut down for hours on Friday morning after a semi rolled near Marion.
According to police, northbound I-69 was shut down around 4:40 a.m. at the 262 mile marker because of the rollover crash. This is two miles south of the Marion exit.
Southbound lanes were also closed, so that emergency vehicles could access the crash, but those lanes have since re-opened.
Police say no other vehicles were involved in the crash. The driver of the semi was taken by medical helicopter to Parkview Hospital with unknown injuries.
Around 12:30 p.m., police dispatchers in Grant County confirmed that the lanes had re-opened.
