FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Students at Homestead High School will get to stay home and learn on four different days in the coming school year.
Southwest Allen County Schools and Homestead were chosen as one of 12 school corporations in the state to have Flex Days during the 2014-2015 school year.
During Flex Days, students will learn from home using laptops provided by the school. They will be able to log-on from home starting at 7 a.m. to begin working. Teachers will be available to contact from noon until 3 p.m. on those days. All after school activities and practices will continue as usual.
Flex Days will also allow teachers to participate in other professional learning opportunities.
