BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY (WISH) – Police say a pair of robbers netted more than 30 weapons Wednesday after robbing a family’s home in Bartholomew County, which is south of Indy.

Associates with our sister station at WISH-TV report that more than 30 weapons were stolen during a burglary and vandalism of a home owned by a family with deep roots in law enforcement. The Republic report that the guns stolen include several pistols, hunting guns and two semiautomatics.

Several thousands of dollars worth of items were stolen from the home between 2:15 p.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday. The home is on East Enon Road, south of County Road 2225 North.

The sheriff’s department is looking for two men in their late 20’s to early 30’s. One of the men was last seen wearing a red bandana. A dingy white pickup truck described as a late 1970’s Chevrolet model was seen leaving the home.

Anyone with information about the burglary, or who has seen the truck should call the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office at 812-379-1740.
