Masked man robs Chase Bank

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Police are investigating a robbery at a Chase Bank Saturday morning.

Fort Wayne Police arrived at the Chase Bank on 3103 East State Blvd around 11 a.m. Police said a man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash after robbing the bank on the city’s north side.

No one was hurt. Police said he left the bank with the cash on foot. There was a white Dodge or Chrysler minivan with tinted windows that was seen in the area roughly 30 minutes prior to the incident that may be of interest.

Police said he was at least 6 feet tall and was wearing all blue clothing, overalls, a mask and gloves. Police said there were enough breaks in the clothing to determine the suspect is a white man.

Investigators are not sure how many employees were in the bank at the time. However, they said at least two customers were at the bank during the robbery.
