ZZ Top coming to Foellinger Theatre

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)  ZZ Top is scheduled to perform at Foellinger Theatre this fall. Tickets go on sale August 4 at 8 a.m. It will be the first time the “little ol’ band from Texas,” will have been in Fort Wayne in seven years.

The American rock band will perform Wednesday, October 8 at 7:30 p.m. ZZ Top has been touring and recording together since 1969. That is a record setting 45 years for a major band to retain their original lineup.

ZZ Top was inducted into The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame by Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones. The band is known for blues rock songs such as “La Grange,” “Tush,” “Legs” and “Sharp Dressed Man.”

Tickets can be bought on-line at www.foellingertheatre.org, by calling 260-427-6000, or by visiting the Parks & Recreation Department office at 705 E. State Blvd. The office is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tickets can also be purchased at any of the three Wooden Nickel Records stores in Fort Wayne. Ticket prices are $49 – $99.
