Two arrested in Marion Bank robbery

MARION, Ind. (WANE) – Officers with the Marion Police Department arrested two people for a Wednesday bank robbery.

According to the release from police, after the Marion Police Dispatch gave out a description of the suspects, an officer in the area noticed two suspects just a couple blocks away from the Regions bank at 402 South Washington Street. The officer was able to get one of the two and hold the suspect at gun point but the second suspect got away.

It wasn’t long until the second suspect was caught, just a few more blocks away. Police said all the money from the robbery was recovered. The following people were arrested:

Kane Rutledge, 40, of Marion

  • Charged with Robbery

Robert Colburn, 33 of Marion

  • Charged with Robbery
