Suspect in July pharmacy robbery sought

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Police are hoping to identify a suspect they said robbed a Walgreens Pharmacy earlier in July.

According to police, the Walgreens Pharmacy at  2410 N Coliseum Blvd. was robbed on Friday July, 11. The suspect rode up the store on a bicycle, went in and walked up to the pharmacy. He handed the pharmacist a note asking for pills.

The pills he asked for were placed into a bag. The suspect then left the store and was seen heading east on E. State Boulevard on his bike.

Police describe the suspect as a black man, 6’01” tall with a slim build. He was wearing a light color baseball cap, green long sleeve shirt and khaki pants.
