Day 3 in Latvia for Voices of Unity

VOU at Friendship Concert 3

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) It’s day three for the Voices of Unity in Latvia. The choir has performed a concert and marched in a parade that welcomes the different choirs from all around the world.

The Voices of Unity reports that what they thought was a sound check, was really a performance. Although they may have not known they were to perform, the Voices of Unity said they dazzled the audience. The unexpected concert was a Friendship Concert that is used to highlight various choirs participating in the competition.

Voices of Unity said some of the songs from their performance were “Earth Song” by Michael Jackson, “Happy” by Pharrell Williams, and “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)” by Whitney Houston. The choir highlights that after two other groups performed, the Voices of Unity were called back on stage for an encore.

The choir also participated in the Parade of Nation which included teams representing countries from around the world. Voices of Unity met choir members from Russia, Africa, and Europe.
