Dobis Takes Over Lead At Women’s City Tournament

FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) – Defending Fort Wayne Women’s City Golf Tournament champ Karley Dobis took command on Sunday afternoon – firing a one-under 71 to take over the lead at Chestnut Hills. Dobis entered the day just two strokes back of leader Allison Curtis after carding a 73 on Saturday. A short birdie putt on the par-4 8th hole helped propel Dobis to her strong round.

Curtis on the other hand struggled – finishing four-over on the round – highlighted by a double-bogey on hole five. She slides back to fourth place – just three strokes behind

Sarah Dusman maintains her hold in second place, while Michelle Smith fires a 73 for the second straight day to move into sole possession of third place.

Final round action begins Monday morning.
