“It’s like he’s going back in the past to how it used to be,” festival goer, Thomas Emerson said. “[Jack Hammer has] done a lot to change it.”
Organizers booked bigger name concert headliners. Cheap Trick, and 80s rock band, kicked off the concert series Friday night. There will be an “Under the Sun” concert Saturday night featuring Sugar Ray. There are also more rides on the Midway and new river excursions for people to enjoy.
“We have put more people on the rivers in downtown Fort Wayne today than any other time,” Three Rivers Festival Executive Director, Jack Hammer said.
The festival runs until the 19th.
