Long lines at River Excursions


Fort Wayne, Ind. (WANE)  Hundreds of people are lined up, some said waiting nearly two hours for the River Excursions at the Three Rivers Festival.

The 30 minute boat tours on the St. Marys River start Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., and continue on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

There are 10 boats that are running the free tours, each taking about ten people at a time.

Each boat has a knowledgeable guide who talks about the history of the rivers and bridges in Fort Wayne.

No reservations are needed for the boat rides, however guests should prepare to stand in line.
