Tip leads to heroin bust in Mercer County

CELINA, Ohio (WANE) After a tip received by the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office that heroin was being transported there from Dayton, two women were arrested.

Detectives said Skye A. Daniels, 33, and Cassandra N. Springer, 19, had two capsules of suspected heroin in the car they were driving.

Detectives also found a used syringe from property belonging to Daniels and six capsules of suspected heroin that was found on Springer.

The vehicle was impounded and the case will go the Mercer County Prosecutor.
