Kiermaier Hits First Career Grand Slam, Goes 4-For-4

TAMPA, Fla. (WANE) – Bishop Luers graduate Kevin Kiermaier had a night to remember on Wednesday against the Royals, hitting his first MLB grand slam while finishing 4-for-4 at the plate.
Kiermaier’s blast came in the bottom of the fourth and gave the Rays a 4-2 lead. It was his eighth home run of the season.
Kiermaier’s other three hits were all singles, raising his batting average to a team-best .297.
