Seibold Steps Down As Huntington North Softball Coach

Paris Seibold

HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WANE) – After 17 seasons leading the Huntington North softball program Paris Seibold is stepping down to spend more time with his family.
“Being a part of the program this long, it is a decision I thought about for a long time,” Seibold told WANE-TV. “I have grandkids and family in other states, and there have been times I’ve had to skip trips or vacations. I really have enjoyed my time coaching at Huntington North, but I want an opportunity to be a part of more family activities.”
Seibold’s teams went 290-154 in his 17 season. This past season the Vikings finished 24-6, advancing to the semi-state championship game. Huntington North’s Erin Rethlake was also named Miss Softball for the state of Indiana after the season. provides commenting on many stories to allow for constructive discussion.
