Luers Grad Thomas On Spurs Summer League Roster

Deshaun Thomas Ohio State

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The NBA champion Spurs released their summer league roster and Tuesday and, to little surprise, Bishop Luers grad Deshaun Thomas will suit up for San Antonio in Las Vegas.
Thomas is one of 15 players on the Spurs’ roster for the Vegas Summer League.
The former Ohio State Buckeye was a second round pick by the Spurs (58th overall) in last summer’s NBA draft. He led the Spurs in scoring during last year’s Vegas summer league play at just under 12 points a game, but played his first year of professional basketball in France. Thomas led his French team in scoring at 12 points a game and led JSF Nanterre to the franchise’s first-ever French League championship. provides commenting on many stories to allow for constructive discussion.
