Fire in vacant Fort Wayne home

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Fort Wayne firefighters were called to a fire in a vacant home just after 10 p.m. Saturday. The first crews arrived at 221 Dale Drive in three minutes.

There was fire coming from the back of the one-story house when firefighters arrived. The fire was in the back bedroom. Firefighters used an aggressive interior attack and had the fire under control in 17 minutes.

No one was in the house at the time of the fire and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
