JazzWorks! to wrap up festival week

Features live bands in a garden setting followed by fireworks

It’s the combination of live outdoor music, refreshments and downtown fireworks that makes JazzWorks a hit.  The Foellinger Freimann Botanical Conservatory Terrace and Exploration gardens are perfect locations to savor a summer Saturday evening and are in direct line to catch the fireworks finale.  Guests are welcome to bring a lawn chair.  Food and beverage will be available to purchase from the outdoor kitchenette on the Terrace.  The Botanical Conservatory is located at 1100 South Calhoun Street.

This evening will feature the Colin Boyd Trio at the start followed by the band Trackless to lead up to the fireworks.  JazzWorks! will be held July 19 at 7p.m.  Guests are welcome to come early to see the new garden exhibit, “Rhythm and Flow.”  It features mixed species floral beds, topiary sculptures, and a green wall planting that uses vertical space in an unusual way.  Doors will open at 6p.m.

Admission is $5 per adult, $3 per child age 3 to 17.  Learn more about a free ticket give-a-way on the WANE-TV contest page.  A discount will be given by showing a TRF button.  WANE-TV is a proud sponsor of JazzWorks!
