FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The award winning restaurant Shigs In Pit shares an easy way to prepare barbecue chicken for the holiday.

Christy Mommer, Catering Director, and Mike Flaherty, General Manager, talked with NewsChannel 15’s Gina Glaros and Nicholas Ferreri about the history of the restaurant and the process of making barbecue chicken.

Shigs In Pit was originally started back in 2005. The founders began competing in barbecue contests and winning awards.
