AUBURN, Ind. (WANE) – The National Auto and Truck Museum in Auburn celebrated its silver anniversary this weekend. It opened its doors 25 years ago.
To celebrate the milestone, the museum offered guests free admission both Saturday and Sunday. Organizers said this weekend is a way to honor the past and look to the future.
“There’s a history, particularly in this part of the country and in this community and a fondness and a love affair of autos and trucks, Belba Meyer, one of the event organizers, said.
The museum is planning to add several new exhibits, as well as an automotive research library.
