K-9 helps nab burglary suspect in LaGrange County

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) A K-9 helped police grab a man suspected of burglary on Thursday night.

When deputies with the aided the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department officers arrived at 2800 North 200 East, they noticed a man with a flashlight inside.

According to a search on Trulia, a farm is at that location.

When police reached out to the man inside, his light turned off and police could no longer see him. Police went in and cleared half the structure before noticing a broken glass window and a man lying on the floor.

K-9, Tyson was sent into the building, and the man was taken into custody.

Police arrested Christopher Edgington and booked him at the LaGrange County Jail. Edgington was charged with burglary and Resisting law enforcement.
