Police: Woman stabbed man in shower after fight

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A man is in fair condition after being stabbed in the back while taking a shower Monday night, according to the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.

Officers were called to Chestnut Hills Apartments at 912 Steinman Drive shortly after 11 p.m. for a reported stabbing.

Allen County officers told NewsChannel 15 a man and woman living together had an argument over drug use. Police have not said what the relationship is between the two people.

Police said the woman stabbed the man in the back while he was in the shower.

The man was taken to the hospital in fair condition. Officers said the wounds were superficial and less than an inch deep.

Police said the woman, Regina Clancey-Coleman, admitted to her role in the stabbing. She was in police custody Monday night.

The victim’s name has not been released by police.

The incident is under investigation.
