Concordia’s Black Named Gatorade State Track Athlete Of Year

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Concordia hurdler Symone Black added another line to her already impressive resume on Thursday as the future Purdue Boilermaker was named the Gatorade Indiana Girls Track & Field Athlete of the Year.
Black won the 300 meter hurdles state title with a record time of 41.36 seconds. She also won the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 14.17 seconds.
Black was recently honored as Ms. Indiana Track & Field by the Indiana Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches.
