Traveling roadshow to benefit charity

Traveling roadshow benefits charity

AUBURN, Ind. (WANE) Some car lovers spent their Father’s Day weekend admiring classic cars, for a good cause.

The second annual Scottie DTV Traveling Charity Roadshow, hosted by the Shifters Car Club, took place at the Auctions America Auction Park.

The event featured games, motorcycle simulators, camping, and an autocross track, hosted by Fort Wayne Region Sports Car Club of America.

Organizers hope to make this event a major family-friendly car event in Northeast Indiana.

Scott Dupre, founder of ScottieDTV and a YouTube Partner, selected vehicles and owners to be interviewed and featured on his channel.

Proceeds will benefit the Shop with a Cop program in DeKalb County.

Organizers hope to rotate their involvement with charities, eventually partnering with Wounded Warriors, which helps wounded members of the armed services.
