Fort Wayne, Ind. (WANE)   A cool treat comes to life when milk, vanilla, sugar, and liquid nitrogen are whisked together for Science Central’s ice cream experiment. It’s just one of the projects the $40,000 grant from Lincoln Financial Group helps fund for Science Central’s demonstration theater.

The Lincoln Financial Foundation continues to support The Lincoln Financial Foundation Demonstration Theater though grants such as the one Science Central received Thursday. The $40,000 will help with buying supplies for the experiments including the ice cream experiment and the Van de Graaf generator.

School students and visitors of all ages participate in hands-on science demonstrations and actives. Doris Lemert, the director of marketing and development said about 80,000 people participated in the demonstrations last year.
