Smith Tabbed Second Team Preseason All-America

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – College football guru Phil Steele has released his preseason All-America teams and Bishop Luers graduate Jaylon Smith is getting some attention.
Smith, who will be a sophomore this fall, was a second team pick. As a true freshman last season, Smith started all 13 games for the Irish while racking up 67 tackles – third-best on the team.
Notre Dame tight end Ben Koyack was named a third-teamer by Steele while cornerback KeiVarae Russell was selected to the fourth team.
