MARION, Ind. (WANE) One of two people accused of killing an 81-year-old man in Marion changed her plea to guilty on Monday.
Investigators said James Griffith and Lacy Bradley went to Duwayne Lindsey’s home in 2012 and struck him in the head several times.
Police said the two took off with several firearms, collectable coins, and a large amount of cash. Lindsey died from his injuries.
Griffith will spend the rest of his life behind bars for his part in the crime. He was convicted of murder in April and sentenced in May.
On Monday, Lacy Bradley pleaded guilty to two counts of murder, robbery with a deadly weapon, robbery resulting in serious bodily injury and to receiving stolen properties. All charges were felonies.
Bradley’s sentencing is scheduled for July 11.
