Fort Wayne man found out-of-state after silver alert

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The statewide silver alert issued for a Fort Wayne man has been a canceled.

According to the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, Thomas Sodano was found out-of-state.

The Allen County Sheriff’s Department is looking for an elderly Fort Wayne man who has been missing since Sunday morning.

Police are looking for 80-year-old Thomas Sodano.

Sodano was last seen in Fort Wayne at 8:30 a.m. Sunday. Police said Sodano is believed to be in danger and may require medical attention.

Sodano is 5 feet 7 inches tall, 185 lbs., with medium length brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue t-shirt, and casual shoes.

Sodano has a tattoo of a bird on each side of his chest and a faded tattoo on his underarm that says, “mom and dad.”

The sheriff’s department said Sodano may have been traveling to Decatur to visit a flea market. Police believe he is driving a 2007 white Ford Ranger with Indiana plate TK439MDY.
