FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The man who is accused of crashing into a Fort Wayne teenager’s car and killing her now faces another charge. Allen County prosecutors charged Jeremy Washington, 35, with murder on Friday.

He already faces several other charges including attempted murder and reckless homicide.

Police said Washington was drunk when he crashed his car into Haley Nellum’s vehicle in March. Nellum was a sophomore at Bishop Dwenger High School.

Just before that crash, police said Washington fired a gun at a SUV outside the Corner Pocket Bar.

Washington will appear in court again on Monday. provides commenting on many stories to allow for constructive discussion.
