Riverside Gardens renovations revealed

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (NEWS SENTINEL)–  A splash pad, volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits are just a few of the new additions now available at Riverside Gardens in Leo-Cedarville. According to WANE’s news partners at the News Sentinel the $800,000 renovation was celebrated Tuesday during a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The gardens now have new swings and playground equipment, a splash pad, two lighted volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, a pond and concrete paths. Check out the splash pad by playing the video.

Part of the funding for the project came from The Department of Natural Resources. They gave a $200,000 matching grant that the Leo-Cedarville community doubled with help from a loan from IAG Bank and Community Enhancement and Development Income Tax (CEDIT) funds.
