FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)  Police notified media at about 3:40 p.m. that they had positively identified the two people pictured in the surveillance images they released earlier in the day on Wednesday.

This is an update to the previously published story below.
Police are asking for help identifying and finding a couple they believe stole a purse from a Walmart store earlier in May.

According to the release from police, a woman set her purse down inside the Walmart at 7502 N Southtown Crossing on May 3. Police say the purse was then stolen by the couple pictured in the surveillance pictures.

The purse has not been found.

Anyone with information on who either suspect is, is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 436-STOP (436-7867).
