I-69 back open in Grant County

GRANT COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – Southbound I-69 in Grant County is back open after a crash.

Emergency personnel closed the road Wednesday evening for a crash involving a tractor-trailer.

Traffic was diverted at exit 259 near Gas City.

The tractor-trailer involved in the crash jack-knifed and was blocking both lanes of traffic. The trailer tipped over and busted open. The cab of the truck remained upright.

The driver had minor injuries, according to Grant County Sheriff’s Department dispatchers.

Police haven’t said what the truck was hauling, if anything.

The crash is under investigation.
