FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Felony child molesting charges were filed in Allen Superior Court on Tuesday against a man accused of having sex multiple times with his step-daughter starting when she was seven years old.

Jeremy T. Bolenbaugh, 33, denied the allegations in November of 2013 when he was interviewed by a police officer.

The case came to light in October of 2013 when the girl, who was nine-years-old at the time, told her therapist that her stepfather had sex with her.

Her claims were forwarded to the Department of Child Services and the Fort Wayne Police Department was notified to investigate.

During an extensive interview at the Bill Lewis Center for Children in November of 2013, the girl went into great detail about how the sex acts had taken place in various locations before December of 2012 when she had been placed in foster care.

The alleged crimes were committed between November 2010 and November 20, 2012.

Bolenbaugh faces five counts of felony child molesting.
