FORT WAYNE, Ind, (WANE) A patron at a Fort Wayne restaurant tipped off security personnel early Sunday morning that a man appeared to be selling cocaine inside the men’s bathroom.
It didn’t take long for police to arrest the man, who happened to be wearing a white cowboy hat.
According to court documents, the security staff at Las Lomas notified an off-duty Fort Wayne police officer just before 3 am about what the patron had seen.
The officer and two other men he was with then witnessed the man in the hat exit the restroom and proceed to drop a small plastic bag from his hand to the floor.
When the three stopped the man to question him, they were told he had bought the substance, which tested positive to be cocaine, in the restroom from another person for $20. It weighed just under half a gram.
Ludvin Delcid, 23, was arrested on a felony charge of possessing cocaine.
