Snider Football Coaching Pair Honored

FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) – With nearly 80 years of coaching experience between the two of them, Snider’s Russ Isaacs and Russ Bush are well deserving of the highest honors high school football has to offer. Thursday afternoon the duo was announced as the 2014 Region 3 inductees to the Indiana Football Hall of Fame.

Isaacs – who served as head coach of the Panthers from 1991-2008 – lead Snider to its only state football championship and compiled a 194-32 record during his tenure on the sidelines. Bush has been there even longer, serving as an assistant with the program dating all the way back to the 1971 season.

The two will officially be inducted into the hall of fame in June. provides commenting on many stories to allow for constructive discussion.
