Carroll Boys, Bellmont Girls Win NHC Track Meet

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WANE) – The Bellmont girls won the program’s first-ever NHC title while the Carroll boys edged rival Homestead by two points on Monday at the NHC track meet.

The meet was originally scheduled for last Friday, but was pushed back due to inclement weather.

The Carroll boys finished with 153 points with Homestead coming in second at 151.

The Bellmont girls racked up 122.5 points, bested second place Carroll at 114.5. Homestead finished third at 103 while East Noble came in fourth with 82.5.

Holly Hankenson won three events to lead the Squaws, while Lindley Kistler won three events for Homestead.
