FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Some customers on the northeast side of town will have service cut off on Monday, May 12, according to city officials.

The service will be interrupted to complete the transfer of customers to a new 16 inch water main.

City Utilities customers near Mayhew Street, St. Joe, Flutter and Eby roads will be impacted.

Businesses near Mayhew Park, residents on St. Joe Road and in the housing additions of Hunters Glen and Autumn Chase will not have service from Monday at 10 p.m. through Tuesday, May 13 at 6 a.m.

The city says the new pipe is necessary to help the improvement being made by Allen County to Flutter Road.
