FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) – Canterbury started fast and never looked back, completing a dominating sweep of South Side on it’s home diamond Saturday afternoon. The Cavaliers won game one 11-1, before returning for a 12-2 win in game two. Ben Yurkanin set the ton for Canterbury in the bottom of the first inning of game one, delivering a two-run double. Junior Matt Kent followed that with an RBI-single and the route was on.

Across town, Homestead pulled a Saturday sweep of it’s own, besting Snider 4-0, 7-2 to add another pair of wins to their total.
