FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)  Police say a Fort Wayne attorney admitted to writing a post that read, “I’m going to anal rape you so hard your teeth come loose.” on the Facebook account of a client’s ex-husband.

A warrant was issued on April 28 for James Allen Hanson.

According to court documents, Chad Vice contacted an investigator with the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office regarding what he perceived to be threats he had received from Hanson, who represents Vice’s ex-wife, Nachole Mevis, who had been arrested on a domestic battery charge..  Vice told the investigator who had been involved in Mevis’ domestic battery case that Hanson had called him and posted a threatening Facebook message.  Hanson represented Mevis in both the domestic battery case and the divorce from Vice.

Shortly after Vice contacted the investigator, Chief Deputy Prosecutor Mike McAlexander and another employee with the prosecutor’s office spoke with Hanson at the Allen County Courthouse.  During their conversation, Hanson admitted to writing the Facebook post and used an expletive to describe Vice.

On Monday, May 5, Hanson was interviewed by a Fort Wayne police officer at which time Hanson again admitted to writing the Facebook post and that he was not physically threatening Vice.  He only meant to inform Vice that he was gathering all the relevant evidence to defend his client, Mevis.  Hanson told the officer he was using language consistent with what Vice had used.

The entire Facebook post read as follows.  Warning, it contains strong language:

You pissed off the wrong attorney.  You want to beat up women and then play games with the legal system… well then you will get exactly what you deserve.  After I get Nachole out of jail.  I’m going to gather all the relevant evidence and them I’m going to anal rape you so hard your teeth come loose.  I tried working with you with respect.  Now I’m going to treat you like the pond scum you are. Watch your ass you little (expletive).  I’ve got you in my sights now.”

Hanson was arrested on Friday morning on one felony count of Intimidation.
